Jared Britt

As the chairman of the ATEC Legislative Committee, Jared Britt is driving change for technician schools around the country. In his capacity at SUU, Britt’s responsibilities include overseeing the part 147 program and its interface with SUU’s part 141 flight school and its part 145 repair station, writing maintenance policies and procedures, and developing the safety processes used every day to ensure technicians’ work is always correct and safe. Before joining SUU, Britt worked as a technician for Boeing’s Apache production team. He holds an FAA mechanic certificate and mechanic examiner designation. He received his technical training at Chandler-Gilbert Community College and recently earned his Masters of Public Administration from SUU.
