Tonja Norwood

Tonja Norwood, STEM Division Manager at the State Department of Career and Technical Education. She was a classroom teacher for 30 years before joining the CareerTech family. She served as program specialist in the Business, Marketing and IT division supporting teachers before moving to the STEM division as division manager. She believes that her strength is her attitude and her belief that she can make a difference. “Teaching requires not only patience and creativity, but the ability to pass along traditions that will build character and integrity.”
She also serves as the Vice President of Aerospace Education for the AFA Central Oklahoma Gerrity Chapter.
