Professional Bio

Scott was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and has been immersed in aviation since 1990. His career began with the United States Air Force, where he served proudly, including during Operation Desert Storm. He also had the honor of serving with the prestigious US Air Force Thunderbirds as an F-16 Technician, which further honed his skills and passion for aviation.

After his military service, Scott joined United Airlines as an Aircraft Mechanic, where his deep technical expertise and leadership potential quickly became evident. Over the last 21 years, he has held various progressive leadership roles, including leading teams in the Network Operations Control Center for United Airlines, where he played a key role in overseeing critical operational functions.

Currently, Scott serves as the Director of United Airlines' Apprentice Programs, where he oversees training and development in Aircraft Maintenance, Ground Support Equipment, and Facilities Maintenance apprenticeships. In this capacity, he is dedicated to fostering the next generation of aviation professionals and ensuring that United Airlines maintains its commitment to excellence.

In addition to his leadership and operational roles, Scott is certified by the FAA as an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic and holds Commercial Pilot (Single & Multi-engine), and Flight Instructor certifications. His extensive experience, technical proficiency, and passion for aviation continue to drive his impactful career in aviation and is proud to be a member of ATEC.
