Professional Bio
James Hall began his aviation career as a sheet metal mechanic at Cessna. He worked his way through the ranks into management, serving along the way as production foreman, value stream leader, transition specialist, and finally program manager for King Air production at Hawker Beechcraft. While working full-time, Hall earned multiple associate degrees, including a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration, and his FAA mechanic certificate. His experiences as a non-traditional student sparked his passion for adult education. In 2012, Hall joined the faculty at WSU Tech, quickly progressing to lead the faculty of Aviation Manufacturing. In his current role, Jim oversees several different aviation programs including AMT and sheet metal assembly. Hall has served on the ATEC board of directors since 2017 and has held every council executive leadership position including his current role as president.
