Archie Vega

Archie is a Maintenance and Development Director at Alaska Air Group. A retired USMC KC-130 Flight Engineer, Archie brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his current role. After his military service, he retired from United Airlines, where he held various roles, including managing government contracts. Archie then continued his aviation career with JetBlue for 8 years, working on various development programs with FAA 147 schools. Currently, at Alaska Air Group, he oversees maintenance operations and actively participates in community outreach and development programs. Archie’s passion for development drives his commitment to enhancing aviation standards and fostering community growth for everyone. His dedication to excellence has been recognized through numerous awards during his career. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
